What you read dog training books? I must confess that I like to read. I like to discover how other dog owners and trainers have solved problems. Here are some of my favorites. Click on images for more information on their subject.
My dogs and I have had lots of fun as a direct result of 101 dog tricks. We have a few tips - and I did tricks and games that I do with my dogs. Very satisfying! I note that during a time when I am training tips, for my dogs they pay more attention to me when I walk through the room only. Just in case!
Positive dog training is the kind that I used for more than ten years no. No painful method that force a dog to do what you want! Pat Miller is one of the best coaches writer/dog explaining these methods. This particular book includes a step-by-step training program that will take you six weeks. At the end of it, you and your dog will probably have a different relationship, and you both will be learned useful new things!
This book is not another training manual, even if it does not have many of the training advice.
On the contrary, this is a book to understand the behavior of the dog, written by an academic with a heart. It deals with in many ways that we, humans use body language in different ways than dogs, with misunderstandings resulting. She tells us how we can better understand our own actions and responses of dogs. I learned a lot from him. I note more subtleties in the expressions of my dogs, for example.
Well, I could go on and on , perhaps in another note of blog! What are your books of dog training preferred using positive methods, free of pain?
